Blanksword's Newsletter is back!

Bigger, Stronger and full of Grey Matter

Hi everyone! It's been a while since you last saw me in your e-mail inbox :]

Blanksword's development has advanced considerably, and we're going to make big announcements in the upcoming weeks, which makes now as good a time as ever to resurrect the Newsletter!

Let's address the elephant in the room right away:

We have moved from Substack to Kit.

That's right! We were growing increasingly concerned with Substack's ethical and political direction, and at this point, Substack was no longer an option that made sense for us as a queer, marginalized dev team. Unless something goes wrong, we'll be sticking with Kit moving forward.

If you were already subscribed to our Newsletter and you received this email, you don't need to do anything: it means that the jump between the two services worked well, and you'll receive our following newsletters normally :]

Now, let's talk about the Newsletter's direction for the next few months:

The Newsletter will be more frequent & more exclusive.

We're going to aim to send you something every 2-3 weeks if we can help it, and we'll share things in the Newsletter that you won't see on the game's socials (or that you'll see way before they're posted there).

Talk is cheap, so here's an in-progress cutscene that plays a very important part in the game's story that we haven't shared anywhere else, just for your beautiful gloopy eyeballs.

I actually can't wait to show you everything we've been preparing, and I hope to be back in your inbox very soon with some Blanksword Scoops :]

From His Country with love,
Leaf

Hello, friends, family and creatures of His Country! With our Kickstarter preparations now well underway, we're going to ramp up our Newsletters to a weekly schedule, so expect a lot of insights and previews into all things Blanksword :] This week's Newsletter is going to showcase one of my favorite areas in the game: The Fields of Forget-Me-Nots An endless expanse of blue and green - a small, preserved oasis of peace away from the chaos and violence of His Country. The Fields of...
